Therm-a-Rest NeoAir

Description

If you are looking for comfort, look no further than the Therm-a-rest NeoAir. When fully blown up, this pad has nearly a 3′ rise. The NeoAir model reviewed comes in an aqua blue in multiple sizes. The defined rectangular shape consumes more surface area that other bags, leaving less room for you body to come off the bag and feel the effects of the cold ground.

When flattened out and rolled up, the NeoAir Therm-a-Rest pad is a little larger than a liter bottle and can fit almost anywhere. With the size and comfort also comes the weight. Ultralight users may chose to go another route when selecting a pad, but most will gladly carry a few extra ounces for the quality of sleep and comfort this bag provides.

This pad comes with a patch kit and a bag. After extensive use (3 hard years), this pad had a small leak and I mean small enough we couldn’t find the source of the leak. We blew it up before going to sleep and there was a noticeable difference in the morning. The bag was not deflated enough so that the user was touching the ground.
