Description

I thought this bag was way too “heavy duty” for any touring I would be doing, but then I took the bag on an early spring tour and I am forever thankful I had it. This bag is the warmest bag I’ve ever been in. I highly recommend for colder touring. Initially, I had problems compacting the bag to fit into the compression pack that came with it. I ditched the compression pack and starting putting it directly in the pannier.

There is plenty of room inside the bag for clothes and other items that you might want to keep warm during colder weather.  I enjoy the user-friendliness from inside the bag. It features heavy duty glow in the dark zippers on the inside and out. You can completely mummify yourself in this bag with no exposure to the outside. I could do without the weight and bulkiness of the bag, but you can’t have your cake and eat it too. The bag is extremely versatile meaning I’ve taken it car camping, backpacking, and bicycle touring.
