The MSR Pocket Rocket has been around for years. It features a simplistic design that works perfectly for the minimalist. This was my first stove and a good entry-level stove for those just getting into touring. I am concerned about the longevity of this stove. It will not last a lifetime, but its cheap enough to justify that. You must have a separate pot/pan in order to use it, but you can purchase a MSR stove kit for an additional $50 that will include
-After time and excessive use, I found that the tamped screws that hold the Pocket Rocket together tend to become loose.
-Need a separate cooking equipment
-Only burns Isobutene fuel
